Hi,

It was pointed out to me that the large print version of Mark Greaney’s Mission Critical has bolded words, higgledy-piggledy. The patron is finding it very confusing, wondering why. That it would mean an emphasis on the word did not always seem to be necessary.

I’ve tracked down the regular paperback of the book on Amazon and there are enough “look inside” pages to see that the normal paperback has italics instead of bolding.

Oh, maybe I’ve just solved my own question. When the point of large print is to make the reading easier, is bolding for emphasis presumed easier than italics? This must be correct, yes?

Does every large print book do this? Or could it be publisher dependent?
