Folks,

I'm considering changing how I do recaps for the list and Friends of Maine
hockey for next season, especially home games. I'd prefer to write a more
"journalistic" story, including quotes, etc for all home games. Since a lot
of friends members and list members see the games, these tend to be somewhat
shorter but with more insight since they contain the quotes from those that
were there.

The "blow-by-blow" recaps would likely be reserved for away games with
credit given to WZON radio who does a great job broadcasting the games to
Maine fans back home.

Saturday's recap, which I'm about to post, is an example of what I'd like to
do more of next year. For most of this year, and certainly next year, I've
been writing recaps for USCHO and while I'd include more Maine material for
the list and Friends of Maine hockey than I would on a USCHO article, it is
a lot easier than writing a seperate "blow-by-blow" recap of the game.
Those tend to get lengthy!

If you have feelings one way or another, please let me know privately.
