Thank you NIssa and MLA for sharing this important call-to-action:

Senator Susan Collins is on the HELP Committee, which is overhauling ESEA
(school funding) for re-authorization.  If SKILLS is included in ESEA, it
will do a lot to stabilize the staffing and funding of school libraries.
The committee is voting as early as April 13th on this issue, so now is the
time to contact Senator Collins' office to let them know that this is
important.  Here is how to contact her office:

I have already called Senator Collins office to express my support for
SKILLS.  I am pleased to hear that others are doing the same. If you
haven't already done so, please contact Senator Collins office and express
your support for school libraries.
