Thanks for posting this.  It's so true about the price of journal subscriptions. Plus databases go up every year too.  Yet this is where our students do the most research through journal articles. Elsevier won't even talk to us about online journal subscriptions.  For journals that only go through Elsevier we have to go with print.  Are any other libraries who deal with journals also have this problem?
