The following is from the newsletter of Politics & Prose, a Washington,
DC bookstore.
The book sounds as though it might be relevant to the ongoing discussion
of Pound & Fascism

-UPCOMING EVENTS

There is only one more event in the month of August:
ALICE KAPLAN (Tuesday, August 24, 7 p.m.)
In THE COLLABORATOR: THE TRIAL AND EXECUTION OF ROBERT BRASILLACH
(Chicago,
$25), Alice Kaplan continues her study of the relationship of French
intellectuals to Fascism. Robert Brasillach was the only intellectual
executed following World War II; Kaplan conducts an in-depth examination
of
the circumstances and people involved in Brasillach's case. The result
is an
unflinchingly intense glimpse of this period of French history.
