Would you please let me know about "the Cantos transforms time ("the
fourth") into 2D space" ?
I also read a note in a book that Pound didn't like the "forth dimension",
what does that mean, and why ?

but isn't it a bit stretched? The Cubists simply
flattened space--laying out three dimensions
in two, whereas the Cantos transforms time
("the fourth") into 2D space. Would you call
Duchamps' "Nude Descending a Staircase"
an example of Cubist time transformed into
space? If so, then the Cubist analogy is
stronger.
