K. K. Ruthven, A Guide to Ezra Pound's Personae (U of Cal Press, 1969), pp 209f
might be helpful as well. For students and/or EP lovers who are more into the
Cantos than the earlier poetry I always find this book helpful. Ruthven says that
John St. Leo Strachey (1860-1927) "was editor of the >Spectator< from 1898 until
1925. Cf. Ezra's Letters p. 58 and "BLAST of June 20, '14, 21.
