I noticed some people were having trouble getting the gist of the Italian in this
article, so I'm posting a note from Massimo Bacigalupo (with his permission)
giving his take on the matter. I'd written to ask him if her were following the
matter. He replied:

I do follow it--a very silly article.

Mary's interview on 1 april (Corriere della Sera) rightly denounced the thugs of
CasaPound. Here they pretend to be good boys and invite her to come and
check in person.

It's a scandal that this Fascist group has been blackening EP's name all over
the Italian press. You can send this message on to whiever is in need of
clarification of current
events.

> Dear Tim: I had the same trouble trying to get the website, and I even called
up the Corriere on the Internet to see if I could find what Luca had in mind. I
didn't find it. Let me know if you do.

>I've read your essay on Pound's Catholicism and found it quite enlightening.
It's too early to say what will be in the book that Caterina Ricciardi and I have
begun putting together, but I can tell you in advance I'm glad your essay is in
our file. I think we are going to get a good book out of the Rome conference
eventually. Just be patient.
