Mailing list is always postive to it subject. People come to a list because
they like it. A mailing list with negative mode can not survive because it
is too easy to get bored to talk about a bad thing. So if you come in
negatively, be very well prepared with a deep understanding of the subject,
because you are assumed to have the greatest object above all: to bring the
list down.
