But one good player who IS a good announcer is none other than University of
Maine alum Bob Beers!!!!! (#2 in the program, #1 in my heart). Blair Marsh
is another good one - I've enjoyed listening to him and Dan Hannigan over
the internet (thank you Verizon DSL). They tell it like it is.

Had a good time at Lowell this weekend, but I thought the officiating was
HORRIBLE on Saturday night. Heche (or whatever his name was) lived up to
the reputation that the BC announcers gave him on Friday night vs.
Providence when he called a late penalty against BC that, in their opinion,
was "the worst call in the history or organized sports" (or something like
that). I heard some of the Lowell fans shouting "We Want Fitzy", so you
know it was bad.

Did anyone who happened to catch the BC/Providence game on Sunday notice
that there was NOBODY in the stands. Was it due to the fact that the
Patriots were on the tube, or that the team was on its way to losing six
straight. Oh how the mighty have fallen!!

Dan and I will be at the Merrimack game on the 9th. Let's hope for a good
turnout so we can out-yell the home team once again.

Nice to see lots of activity on the list again - let's keep it up!!!

GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
