A group of concerned citizens has approached the library about putting on
an informational panel discussion about inspiring and creating affordable
housing, year-round rentals, and thwarting the AirB&B takeover of our small
coastal town. As this is an issue that has been impacting many Maine towns,
I wonder if other libraries have resources to share with me. We are looking
for an attorney or municipal planner who can speak about what the local
government can do to address the housing issues.

If you have ever done a program like this, I would love to talk with you
about how it was structured. I am extremely vigilant about remaining
neutral and apolitical and want to plan this with a moderator to keep the
program informational and fact-based. Any organizations you might
recommend contacting?
