Dear Pounders,

Donna Hollenberg, who is writing a biography of Denise Levertov, has sent me the following query: "I'm trying to locate where Pound quoted Spinoza's statement, "The intellectual love of a thing is the understanding of its perfections." Levertov says
she read this statement in Pound ( but she doesn't say where). There is no Concordance of EP's prose, so I thought I'd ask the community of EP scholars."
