Here is my guess.
Either BC or Maine had to go west. Logic (now there is a concept) would
suggest that Maine would stay east, since we were higher in the Pairwise.
But despite what they have been saying there is subjectivity, and here is
why I think we are going west.
1. Boston College has had to go west several times in the last few years,
and it is a "payback" to keep them east.
2. Maine's late season fade.
I also wonder how much politics play into this, and how well that Whitehead
is connected politically, although this is not a criticism of him, just a
question.
