Yes bret played the front of the net on the PP, something I had been hoping for for years.
I will post the link if I can find it, but the bfn spoke about injuries this coming weekend, not scratches

I haven't seen the BDN report, but ...
With 10 freshmen and this being early season, can we really tell injury from more-or-less-healthy scratch? Certainly Sweetland appeared to be injured during the 2nd MH game.
Bret Tyler sort of looks like a forward. Did he play some power-play forward last weekend? If not, there were 3 defensemen on the ice on occasion.
If some are in less than expected shape, it's not showing in 3rd period shots/scores. Certainly, the 1st MH game had a last-10-minutes breakdown, but it didn't appear to me to be because of players sucking wind ... more a return to exhibition hockey.
cheers, wayne

so the BDN has reported that Dee and Orsini are out
and that Sweetland will stay out, all with injuries.
I do not remember a team with this many injuries ...
especially this early on. I do remember coach stating
that he was very happy with how pretty much everybody
came into camp.
But Dekastrozza was out for a while and now 3
freshmen. I have read that Duffy messed up his ankle
as well.
Coach reported that one D man will be called up this
weekend to play forward. I cannot remember the last
time that happened... I remember lots of times where
forwards needed to go back and play D, (Hopson,
Marshall, Reimann just to name some that come
instantly to mind.)
---here's hoping that the injuries are not bad
