Hi Stephan,
There might be a few threads you could follow. I think the place to start would be Moody's Ezra Pound Poet vol. II. Moody is very detailed as to the interactions Pound had with fascist ideologies and records changes of opinion EP had re Hitler and Schacht.
Then of course you might read W. Lewis's Hitler of 1931. EP thought greatly of that book and subscribed to it without reservations. He even chided Lewis for having changed his mind and recanted.
Finally, you might check out correspondences with German intellectuals and artists - Frobenius and Munch come to mind. 
The Agresti correspondence is also a rich mine of opinions.

Are there any reliable papers on the opinions Pound had re Hitler and/or German fascism? Preferably opinions he had at the time.
