Subject: Re: Your FRONT article

Dear Walter Bauman,

Finally I wrote a few lines about FRONT, but the Pound list seems to have refused to send the message around. Could you help me in this matter?

My lines are below (please edit if the English is clumsy).

All the best,

Yours,

Lars Kleberg

Dear colleagues,

If you have ever wondered about the legendary little multi-language magazine FRONT (The Hague, 1930-1931), where Pound appeared side by side with such writers as Carl Einstein (Germany), Sergei Tretyakov (USSR) and others, I have published the following article:

"About FRONT: The Short History of an International Avant-Garde Journal (1930-1931)", in: Robert Bird, Lazar Fleishman & Fedor Poljakov (eds.), Sankirtos: Studies in Russian and Eastern European Literature, Society and Culture in Honor of Tomas Venclova, Frankfurt am Main: Peter Lang 2008, pp. 218-236.

All the best,

Yours

Lars Kleberg
