I agree.  It was a strange game.  While Maine worked very hard and did
a nice job in many areas (power play, forecheck, backcheck, taking the
body, etc.) they did NOT play their "A" game and they took many bad
penalities, yet they did dominate the game.

It looked like a very easy win all things considered.

I thought SCSU looked very soft, which I was surprised from the
2nd-place WCHA team.

SCSU also was perhaps top-heavy with their scoring.  Maine shut down
their top line and that was big.  We are not so fortunate playing
UMass.  They will roll four lines and we need to match their intensity
and their physical play.

Maine will be "home" today, so I wonder how much of a difference that
will make.

Many comments out there in the media after last night's game about how
Maine was even more motivated once UMass beat Clarkson because they
want another shot at them.  Interesting.

I don't really know what to expect tonight but I am enjoying the ride.
