We went to the game last night, Larry Mahoney was right! Maine had no
transition game, and really only started to play after they were down
2-1. Wilson played well, but was hung out to dry by the defense on each
of the UMass goals.
The Mullins Center is a nice rink, but probably my least favorite place
to watch a college hockey game, primarily due to trash talking of the
UMASS student section. It seems that every cheer includes the words
"s*&k", "b*&Ls*#t", or "a@@h**e". All of this AFTER the public addess
announcer says that "foul language wil not be tolerated"
There was a small, but vocal contingent of UMaine fans; lets hope for a
few more tonight!!
GO BLUE!!!
