It certainly seems like both Greg(less so) and Jimmy have been affected
negitively since the tourney. Usually the players come back better. Remember
Barrett Heisten, he was tenetive before the Jrs, afterwards he was a regular
contributer. I remember the change as fairly dramatic. Confidence is
definetly the key, I remember thinking that the Russian game was going to
ruin Jimmy, whether or not thats true, who knows?.
As far as the time off goes, I doubt they have carte blanche to do nothing.
I'd bet the weight room will be busy. These guys need some time to regroup.
There shouldn't be anything left to learn and you can only expect to hold
their attention for so long and 3 weeks is too long. Pretty hard to prepare
for a team when you have no clue who you might play.
