I think it is a fantastic dilemma that potentially confronts the FleeCenter
on the Frozen Final week (that combination not copyrighted...):
Professional team, Boston Bruins, currently slated to host two Stanley Cup
playoff games on Wed. 4/7 and Fri. 4/9 at same venue, bracketed around first
session of Frozen Final on Th. 4/8 No problem, you say ?
Well, NC$$ rules prohibit ANY display of logo or insignia visible in seating
areas by non-Corporate Partners (excluding venue name) and those of ANY
professional sports organization. Ads taken off the dashers and the NC$$
logo on the ice ?
You think the TV types and the NHL's "partners" would have blank advertising
for Friday's NHL game...LOL !!!
Methinks there's no way to convert the place TWICE (NHL > NC$$ > NHL > NC$$)
in three days in order to please the Indianapolis Thought Police...Good
thing there is a waiver provision in their Tournament Competition rules to
take care of corporate sponsor E$PN and their advertisers....
Maybe I'll see the banners for the Bruins' Ten Honered Numbers this year
after all...
