What a thrill to see the first teamers introduced Saturday night, especially
the vastly unappreciated Jack Semler, and also hearing the mellifluous pipes
of Gary Thorne in his recorded introductions.   

Perhaps these grizzled veterans should be tapped to offer Tim some solutions
to ridding the team of the general malaise they seem to be in at times
during each game, and indeed most of the current season.  

Also a nice touch to see the "Alfond" patch on the jerseys.  Tastefully done.
