From listening to Dan Hannigan, that was my understanding too. The referee
lost sight of the puck and had blown the whistle before the puck crossed the
goal line.

For anyone who was at Saturday's game against Lowell, could you explain
why the referee took away the goal by Maine in the second period?  I was
sitting right behind the net and never got a clear understanding why it
didn't count.
