In the Globe article, Coach York was quoted ...

'Everyone is throwing block parties around [Hockey East],'

That's York looking hard for a quotable quote, I think! There's a lot
more hope of an HEA crown for everyone else in HEA, but to me this means
HEA slipping back from dominance.

I don't know BC's incoming class, but it's hard to imagine that BC can
make home-ice for the HEA playoffs with their (apparent) losses after
last season. Gone are ...

   Goal - Scott Clemmensen

Defense - Bobby Allen, Rob Scuderi, Dan Sullivan & Brooks Orpik

Forward - Brian Gionta, Marty Hughes, Chuck Kobasew, Kyrs Kolanos,
             Mike Lephart & Mark McLennan

Kelleher, Cass, Forrest, Guiliano, Dolinar, Voce, Eaves & a few others
remain, ... very good players, but BC might fall to hard times without
major contribution from new players ... always a roll of the dice.

How's our team match up, Maine fans?

cheers, wayne

Wayne T. Smith
