While I do not know anything about this, I can say that the second
semester at Maine does not start until Monday.  I don't see how if a
student-athlete was accepted and eligible in NCAA terms, why he wouldn't
be able to play starting with the BC series.

Perhaps my understanding of university admissions and NCAA rules is too
simplistic, but I too will be interested to hear more about this.
