The reason I didn't answer this yesterday is because I don't know for sure
and my reliable source is away on vacation. So, I can't find out for
certain. That being said, I think Don will be a Sophomore. He didn't play in
any games at UVM last season. Yes, he was with the team, briefly, but never
played in a game other than intra-squad scrimmages.

I am guessing he will be considered a junior because he played the a
portion of the 1999/2000 season as a sophmore. Then he would lose a
year in the transition I guess and be a junior. I think this is the
same situation Kevin Clauson was in. But I could be wrong about that.
You will find Chris Heisenberg has him listed as coming in as a
sophmore. Here are the links for the incoming recruits for 2000/2001
and 2001/2002:

I've heard some other names of guys being recruited such as Sean
Collins(Reading HS, Mass) and Jason Gueriero(Texas, NAHL).
Also defensemen Ryan Glenn(Walpole, EJHL) turned us down for St.
Lawrence and defensemen Eric Lundberg(Jr. Coyotes, EJHL) turned us down
for Providence. I might be missing some others.
I have also heard that at this point they are interested foremost in
getting another high end D-man.
