Public Libraries and K-12 Schools,

A reminder that as of January 1, Ancestry Library is no longer accessible
from home, only from within a public library or K-12 school, as it was
before March 2020. Access is restricted by IP so patrons will need to use a
library terminal or device. Patrons can use their own device as long as
they are on the library or school network, not using a cellular connection..

Please check any links you have on websites, desktop icons, browser
bookmarks, brochures, newsletters, course guides etc are

K-12 Schools
https://wv-o-ursus-proxy10.ursus.maine.edu/login?url=https://ancestrylibrary.proquest.com

Also, now would be a good time to test access, given the amount of time
that has passed since authenticating via local IPs. If you are being
prompted to login on AncestryLibrary, most likely the library/school's IPs
have changed. If you feel that is the case, please complete the form at
https://library.digitalmaine.org/about/need-assistance/ and we can work
with you.

Happy New Year!
