Bangor Hydro is planning to perform maintenance on the transformer at the
East Substation, beginning at midnight on Wednesday, January 2nd and going
into Thursday morning. (This maintenance was originally scheduled for last
wee but was deferred due to weather.)**

** This work will require an approximate five hour power outage.  All
buildings should be back to normal status by 6AM on Thursday morning.  If
it should rain/snow on Wednesday night, then we will plan on rescheduling
the work for Thursday, January 3rd into Friday morning.

The generators should keep the data center and off-campus connectivity
operational during this time period.  This message is only to make everyone
aware of the planned power maintenance.
