Summary: 
	Please be advised of the following maintenance on power for Orono

Bangor Hydro is planning to perform maintenance on the transformer at the east substation feeding the University of Maine campus.

This maintenance is set to begin at midnight on the morning of Friday, Dec 28th and last until 6AM (approximately 5 hours).

If there is rain or snow on Thursday night, the work may be rescheduled for a date in early January.

This maintenance will affect power to Neville Hall, including Telecom and the Orono Datacenter.  

Both locations have UPS and generator power, and should maintain core and external services though this maintenance.

Most buildings on the Orono campus, however, will experience a loss in service during this window due to a loss of power.
