Folks, am I misreading something? Previously the NCAA designed the
brackets to be East vs West matchups all the way down to the final game
at the F-4 (like last year, for example).
But if you look at the below linked .pdf of the brackets, you will see
the Worcester and Minneapolis winners play each other in the semifinal
of the F-4 (for example Maine vs BC if they are both successful), as
will the Grand Rapids and Amherst winners play each other.
The deck is being shuffled here. Am I the only one who didn't realize it?
