A career night ..

As has been reported in several stories, Troy Barnes had 5 assists and
was an amazing +6 for the game Sunday night.  Several have mentioned
this is a school record (tying several players, including Andre Aubut
and Paul Kariya and others). But I'd also like to point out that this
ties the record for defensemen (with Aubut) and ties the Hockey East
record (with P. Kariya) for all Hockey East players.

On other subjects ...

Andrew Neff of the Bangor Daily News (BangorNews.com) has reported that
NESN will premier a new bi-weekly Hockey East feature program on Friday
January 14th at 6pm (repeated at other times and days). Creating and
producing the show is Cod Rock Media Productions, an 18-month
collaboration between Eric Frede and Dan Hannigan.

The first show will include features on Northeastern defenseman Tim Judy
(and wife) and Lowell's coach Blaise MacDonald.  One of the other 6
scheduled shows will include a feature on the Maine fans!

And finally ...

Neither Ronan nor Mushaluk, the 2004-05 Captains, were on the ice Sunday
night.  Wearing the "A" of assistant captains were Levielle and
Deschamps.  Will some sort of announcement be forthcoming?
