But the question remains, what did he do to warrant 10 minutes PLUS a
game misconduct?  The tv showed he was being absolutely molested by
THREE BC players, being punched, cross-checked, etc. in the crease and
goal, right in front of the official -- who incidently did nothing.
Sure, Heisten deserved a penalty, but to throw him out and force Maine
to lose another player for 10 minutes to serve his penalty (when only
ONE Maine player vs. THREE BC players were involved).. well, by eyes
alone, it looked like a serious case of injustice.
 
That said, it didn't decide the game.  That was decided by the 3-0 BC
first period.  After that point the teams tied 4-4.  Maine started slow
and BC made them pay.
 
Also note that Coach Walsh apparently (again, from TV) did not argue
the call very much (please correct me if I'm wrong), which makes me
wonder if he felt it was justified?
 
Anyone know for sure what happened?
 
BTW, nice to see Barrett lighting the lamp and without question a
successful road trip for the Maine Black Bears.
