The deadline for the current WatchMECreate Challenge - WatchMEUseTheArts -
is approaching.  Submissions are due on December 15, 2011.

In this challenge we are pleased to welcome the Maine Alliance for Arts
Education as a partner. MAAE understands the importance of creativity, and
hopes students from across Maine will show how they are leveraging the
creative skills they are learning and practicing by working with arts
professionals in arts classrooms to improve themselves, their schools,
their communities, and their state. 

The challenge calls for the creation of a 3 minute video response, and is
put this way:

WatchMEUseTheArts: 

Show us how the arts have moved, or could move, beyond the music room,
beyond the art room, beyond the theater, beyond the darkroom, beyond the
expected spaces to help students like you make their school or their
community a better place for all.
