- IMMUNIZATIONS - This is serious stuff, folks!  If you are a degree candidate or a non-degree student taking 12 or more credits, you must be vaccinated for the second MMR by March 3rd, or Maine State law says you will not be allowed into classes.  The district nurse will be here on Thursday, February 14th at 11:00AM to administer the vaccine at $60/per shot which is a deal.  We need to know how many vaccines to order through the nurse so you must sign up at the office.  If you are unable to pay the fee, please see Deb or Bev for help.

- Pen Bay employees!  We understand that employees of Penobscot Bay Medical Center may receive the MMR vaccine at PBMC at no charge.  Please bring us the validated form that shows you have received the vaccine.  

 - UMA Leadership Conference - Building your resume?  Then attend UMA's Spring Leadership Conference on Saturday, March 8th, starting at 8:30AM.  The keynote address will be delivered by Maine humorist and education lobbyist, Gary Crocker.  Breakout sessions will also be held on leadership topics.  The event is free to UMA students. - Upcoming Resume Writing Workshop and Test Taking Workshops  - Beverly Bayer will hold a workshop on Resume Writing on Wednesday, February 13 at 1:00PM and Test-Taking on Friday, February 15 at 10:00AM.  These skill building sessions are free.  Please sign up in the office.
