Storm Info - There are many ways to access class cancellation information. Please check the URock website, Village Soup cancellations, TV channels #6, 8 & 13 as well as radio stations. You may also call the URock main phone line (800-286-1594) for a message with the most up-to-date information.

Student Association - The SA is collecting nonperishable foods and donations of unwrapped toys to be distributed to needy families in the midcoast area. Donations may be left in the study lounge. Also, URock sweatshirts, T-shirts and long sleeve shirts make great holiday gifts and are on sale in the office. The SA will also provide food this coming week for a boost during your study time.

"A Series of One Acts" - The students in DRA 151 will present their final performance in a series of short, one-act plays on Monday, December 17th (the date was changed) at 7:30PM. All are welcome.

Pre-registration is still ongoing for the spring term. Remember that no money is due at this time and you will be billed. This is a great way to save your seat in a course as some classes are filling.

Student Workers- The URock office has job openings for student workers for spring. Students may qualify under either "work study" as part of a financial aid package or as a volunteer. The volunteer program allows a student to accumulate work hours in exchange for course tuition through UMA. Please see any of the front office staff to discuss these work opportunities. Day, evening and Saturday hours available. We welcome and need your help.

That's it for now!
