Altho I can't remember all the names anymore, the fan club came from
my dorm floor in the middle seventies. Mike Smaybe (sp), George, etc
formed it and even took a trip to a Zamboni plant somewhere. The floor
all had Zamboni t-shirts and stayed during intermission to Cheer the zamboni
driver on. You have to remember this is a dorm hall consisting of 90 guys
in a university at the time that had a 5-1 male to female ratio, combined
with an average of 250 inches of snow per year......We had to find something
to do! A few of these guys will be back (they come every year) for the
annual alumni hockey game next month. I'll see if i can get some more
details out of them then. I arrived in the second year of the clubs time.
