This is just a minor detail to correct in Shane Kingry's UAA/Brown summary.
The Brown nickname is the Bruins, not the bears. There's not much of a
difference I suppose, but I'm sure it might be important to any Brown alums out
there. By my count, the UAA loss makes Brown 0-4 against Independents. Two
losses to Alabama-Huntsville, a loss to Alaska-Fairbanks, and a loss to
Anchorage. If the ECAC wants to improve its interconference and independent
records, it has to stop sending Brown against them. Hopefully, the ECAC will
pick up a couple of wins next week when Cornell plays Air Force. Since the
game is in Colorado, it will be a homecoming of sorts for sophomore goalie
Parris Duffus who lives not far from the Academy. (Littleton, CO?)
