The Cyclones play at the Cincinnati Garden. Supposedly built in the 40's and
modeled after Maple Leaf Gardens (although I've never been there and can't say
if it is). I think its a great place to watch hockey but I don't think it
holds as many as the Coliseum (maybe a bit over 10,000). However, I have heard
that the locker rooms are not too great and the Cyclones don't particularly
like them. The Gardens is also home to Xavier b-ball.
The Coliseum hosts concerts and truck contests but really not much with ice
during the year.
I couldn't say if the crew from the Garden's, who regularly tend to ice, were
brought in or consulted by the Coliseum for the NC$$'s.
