it might also have been a situation where House could
not have come out on top by stating that she was
asking for it, even if she had been LITERALLY asking
for it... he would be in deeper doo doo stating such a
thing. (no, I am not blaming the victim here... but I
posed the hypothetical before, what if they had been
dirty dancing earler and she grabbed at him and then
he decided that she was not good enough and blew her
off... and while drunk, on the way out, he grabbed.
According to Maine law, this would not have been
illegal, and maybe that was why charges were dropped.

also, I do not think that it would have stood up in
court, there is a clause in the law that would have
made his actions illegal ONLY if he did it for sexual
gratification... This would be really hard to prove.
And since he did it on the way out the door,
fleetingly, nobody would have ever thought that it was
done for sexual gratification, but rather to be rude
and boorish.

what is really too bad though is that the only hockey
discussion we have here has nothing to do with hockey.

does anyone happen to know if UMass is sold out for
Saturday??? or if it likely to sell out?
