Well actually UBL refers to us as Crusaders so maybe that should be taken as
an offensive nick name now?

I agree with you Cathy. I graduated from a school, their nickname were
Trojans, another local school were nicknamed Crusaders, and another Cadets.

NICKNAME. Not derogatory.
or meant to be.
