nm.maine.edu (AKA named.unet.maine.edu, nm.msln.net and
rpmfind.maine.edu) will be down for maintenance Sunday morning during
the Maintenance window.

This machine provides a number of services some of the most important
are:

      * Network Management (NM)
      * MSLN Mail Account Manager
      * Network Usage Graphs
      * Self Registration (NetReg)
      * Roaming

We expect to start at around 6AM and most services should be back up
between 6:30 and 7AM.

For those interested in what is happening:

      * We are moving to a newer faster machine.  The old machine is a
        dual Xeon 733.  The new machine is a dual Xeon 3.4GHz with
        hyperthreading.
      * We are upgrading the OS from Redhat 9 to Redhat AS 3.

As with any such major upgrade, there may well be problems after the
upgrade that we will deal with during the day.
