The UMS mail server (mail.maine.edu) will be down for maintenance during
the Sunday morning maintenance window.  It will not be available at all
from about 5AM to 8AM.  For those interested in what is happening:

      * We are moving to a newer faster machine.  The old one was a quad
        700Mz Xeon, the new one is a Dual 3Ghz Xeon with hyperthreading.
      * We are upgrading the OS from Redhat 7.3 to Redhat AS 3.
      * We are upgrading the mail server software from cyrus 2.0.17 to
        cyrus 2.1.17.
      * The IP address is changing from 130.111.39.64 to 130.111.32.22.

As with any such major upgrade, there may well be problems after the
upgrade that we will deal with during the day.

One note, if anyone has the IP address of the mail server baked in
somewhere, things will break.  As long as you are using the name
mail.maine.edu, you should be fine.
