This is an interesting decision.

I've heard from hockey supporters who haven't exactly been enamored with
women's hockey program at Maine.  Now, Maine has hired one of its own to
run its women's program.

On the surface, this would seem to help relations between the two
programs.  It certainly builds on the Maine tradition in the "other"
locker room.

Very interesting decision indeed.
