Coach's report for Thursday the 23rd

825 am WZON (zoneradio.com)

- key to surviving that flurry at the end of the Merrimack game was good hard work.
-doesn't want to see MC in a first round series
-Doyle was fine on Friday, the bar is raised, and when goalie isn't at his very best everyone knows
        - too cute led to odd-man rushs
        -overall team played well
-Doyle will be back this weekend. Both guys will play this weekend
-Down the stretch go with a hot guy, but can go with both all the way to the end
-Team has to be sharper to help off-night by goalies
-Lowell a tough team this weekend, consistent goaltending will make them dangerous
-have to be sharp on PK and stay out of box, smart defensive hockey will give us a chance to win
-As a visiting team you get pumped to play in Alfond, with crowd going bezerk even during warm-ups(visiting teams)
-Alfond sold out the rest of the year (apparantly for the first time ever)
-When team is down, crowd can give a huge boost after a goal or for strong pK
-Greyeyes still out with Grade 2 Sprain on MCL
-UNH vs. BU tonight - down to the wire one goal game
-First place will likely comedown to the last weekend, gotta take care of themselves, play hard on the road, play solid at home, wins will come.
