There has been a recent batch of viruses inside password protected zip
files.  In order to proctect us and our community, we have been forced
to disallow password protected zip files.  Ordinary zip files are still
allowed.

As of a short time ago, our mail servers have been configured to remove
password protected zip files from e-mail.
