Comparisons are just fine in this case.  Pro and
college sports conversation both have this and always
will.  We always see, the next Garth Snow and Mike
Dunham.  We always see the next Michael Jordan.  We
always see the next Tom Landry.  It's gonna happen.
And there is nothing wrong with it.  The only thing
that is worthless is saying that what this player or
this coach is doing wrong COMPARED to this player or
coach.  And I haven't really seen that as of late when
folks compare Walsh to Whitehead.  It used to be, but
I think folks have grown out of that.  Comparing and
contrasting is part of sports conversation.  And when
you have a coach that was handpicked like Timmy was,
comparisons will be made.  Fans want to know what
Walsh saw in Whitehead, and instantly most folks are
going to think that he saw something of himself in Tim
Whitehead.  I personally don't think Maine could have
hired a better replacement than Coach Whitehead.
