Not to beat a dead horse, but I'll show you what you did say in your
first post, that you claim not to have said now

now you say

However the truth is whether Shawn lit into them right their on the
bench or not, they still had let downs and lost games.

You also are constantly harping on Colin's comments in the Portland
Press Herald on Saturday after the game, yet you have yet to refer to
comments made by Jon Jankus on Sunday after the win, which seem to
address the very concerns you have about Coach Whitehead.

"We got a little talking to this morning by Coach (Tim Whitehead),"
said Maine forward Jon Jankus. "He stressed that we played absolutely
brutal (Friday) night. We wanted to be all over them from the start,
and we were."

Finally, not sure whether you were at the game on Friday night, but
Maine's letdown was confined for the most part (save :30 seconds after
they scored the tying goal) to the first period. Maine played well in
both the second and third periods, but did not come up with the win. I
imagine that Coach did a little talking after the first period as well!

Sorry, but we all have let downs at every level, and to not expect a
college hockey team to have a letdown is unrealistic.
