What this REALLY says is that all the agony over the effect of the Vermont
forfeits on the NC$$ ranking system (their RPI) for seedings/placements of
ECAC teams in the playoffs probably is a useless exercise.

Look at the weak effort of Clarkson last year....is this year's Renssalear
squad, highest in the current rankings, any better than Clarkson last year
??

I mean, despite some upsets, Renssalear tied Vermont, and what does that say ??

>Note that there are four Hockey East teams in the top 10--UNH No. 1, Maine
>No. 5, BU No. 6, and BC No. 9, with Northeastern also receiving votes (No.
>14). For the other conferences: WCHA 3 (Wisconsin, North Dakota, Northern
>Michigan), CCHA 2 (Michigan, Michigan State), EZAC 1 (RPI).
