Not everyone did get tickets, since we did not make the cut.  I am just glad
that so many people who applied for the lottery are able to go, and that a
decent number of students are going to be in attendance.

Let me just say that I didn't even make any donation to increase my chances
or even bother to mark down that I am technically a student.  I just wrote
the name on the form and handed it back.  Knowing some of the people on that
list I have to wonder
if ANYONE who applied DIDN'T get tickets?!
