Dan,

Nice touch with the "touchdown" garden!

Liked the way Maine played down in the stretch in the games that I saw.

The nice thing about Zab is he has the confidence to skate the puck out
of the d zone as well as thru center ice and into the offensive zone.
He can creat, but has finished as much lately, that comes with playing
time. Which it appears he will be getting more of.

Sad to see Troy on the sidelines, but his inability to stop Boyle
one-on-one in that first BC game opened the door for Zab. I'm sure it
was more than that one play, but Boyle manhandled him to along the
boards.

Better news on Shepherd this morning and hopefully he will be back for
the semis, the kid is a horse and deserves to play on the big stage.

Finally I'll echo what others have said about the freshman class,
absolutely the best class we have had in a very long time. Boy has
Ramsey stepped in and played a key role as the physical d-man, and
Bellamy is a freight train. Ryan could be the next big-time scorer for
Maine and Hopson has improved greatly after a mid-season benching.
Tyler has been consistent all year and gets the puck to the front of
the net. I still think Maxwell is going to be a big contributor and
want to see more of Clarke.

the one freshman who could have the biggest impact in the future of
Maine Hockey is Matt Lundin! Will be fun to watch this group develop,
and I look forward to seeing everyone at the Fleet, uh, I mean
GARDEN!!!

What time do the festivities begin on Friday??????
