Is this good news for women's hockey?? From today's UMaine Today:

o UMaine is one of 25 institutions targeted by the National Women's
Law Center for failure to comply with Title IX, the federal law
that mandates gender equity in college sports. The group announced
today in Washington that it is filing a lawsuit against UMaine, UNH,
BU and 22 other institutions. Details are rather sketchy, as the
University learned of this matter from reporters shortly before
the announcement was made. Channel 2, the BDN and The Chronicle of
Higher Education have called and been put in touch with Sue Estler,
UMaine's director of Equal Opportunity, who can speak generally
about the University's efforts in this area and plans to continue
toward the goal of compliance with the law.
